Are You Ready?
The pressure's on... starting... NOW!!
It has been days, weeks and months.. and tomorrow's event will decide whether everything is worth it all. What am I talking about? Yes, DRAMA.
Drama, drama, drama.. this is the competition that most schools in Sandakan is looking forward to annually. The competition is tough even on few times champion like Sung Siew, as the other schools are getting better and better every time. Do we feel threatened? Of course we do. But I hope it is for the best, not the other way around.. Anyhu, this year SMK Perempuan is the organizer and it's gonna take place in ILP (again) but in different hall, which is bigger and wider in every way compared to last year's one. It's similar to the one in Keningau - last year's state level, only better. Let's just pray that everything will work out okay tomorrow... (there were some technical probs during the rehearsal today, that's why)
What do I actually feel or think about drama as a whole? It's great! When you basically have to handle everything on your own, I must say that it can be tiring, fun, happy, exciting and frustrating all at the same time. I feel best when the 'kids' put up a good show and that everyone is giving their best efforts. By then, who cares if we need to spend 2 to 3 hours a day just to practice? However, I admit, things were kinda fucked up in the beginning, putting pressure on everyone, causing dissatisfaction and many more. But somehow we still manage to get through it. Why? Because we're in this together. United we stand, divided we fall. No matter what happens, this is my team and I really hope that they could pull it off tomorrow! We may not have elaborative or grandish props, yet they can act well, their language's good and the storyline's great - these are the things that matter most.. so, break a leg, team! I know that you can do it! We'll prove our team is the best! (rest well tonight, peeps.. that's exactly what I'm gonna do too *lol*)
P/s: All the media around the world are mourning over the death of King of Pop, Michael Jackson last Thursday.. It's unbelievable, yet that's the fact. MJ, may you rest in peace - you are gone, but definitely not forgotten..
