Painful Pain

I never knew that pain could be this painful :(

The ultimate pain I could have ever faced now is to stop caring about everything and everyone. I'm never good at turning my back on anything or other people without any emotional affliction or tribulation, but sometimes too much is just too much. It's really hard to suppress my feelings and pretend that everything is A-okay when some people keep hurting me, demanding me for perfection when I'm nothing close to perfect. I'm still learning and in need of guidance, not complaints and harsh criticisms. And here I thought accepting each other's imperfections is important in any relationship. Too bad not everyone sees it this way.

Well, hear me out; I DON'T GIVE A DAMN about what you say or think coz you're all talk!

p/s: You shouldn't have to sacrifice who you are just because somebody has a problem with it.

Get It Right

It seems like everything I did was wrong in your eyes..
I'm never gonna be good enough for you, am I not?

Glee Cast

What have I done
I wish I could run
Away from this ship going under
Just trying to help
Hurt everyone else
Now I feel the weight of the world is
On my shoulders

What can you do when your good isn't good enough
And all that you touch tumbles down
'Cuz my best intentions keep making a mess of things
I just want to fix it somehow
But how many times will it take
Oh how many times will it take for me
To get it right
To get it right

Can I start again
With my faith shaken
'Cuz I can't go back and undo this
I just have to stay
And face my mistakes
But if I get stronger and wiser
I'll get through this

What can you do when your good isn't good enough
And all that you touch tumbles down
'Cuz my best intentions keep making a mess of things
I just want to fix it somehow
But how many times will it take
But how many times will it take for me
To get it right

So I throw up my fist, throw a punch in the air
And accept the truth that sometimes life isn't fair
Yeah I sent out a wish
Yeah I sent up a prayer
Then finally someone will see how much I care

What can you do when your good isn't good enough
And all that you touch tumbles down
Oh my best intentions keep making a mess of things
I just want to fix it somehow
But how many times will it take
Oh how many times will it take
To get it right
To get it right

Iftaar @ One World Hotel

Last Saturday, we had our annual iftaar at One World Hotel with Team Kaitenaz. The Ramadhan buffet is great! There was a variety of scrumptious food, as usual, and we had a lovely and enjoyable time there (sampai restoran nak tutup!). Enjoy the pics (some are Botak's and some are mine).

A Different Kind of Surfing

Can you survive without the Internet? Are you an Internet addict? What do you use the Internet for? How many hours do you spend to surf the Net in a day?

My answers would be no, yes, many things, and countless hours and as frequent as I could. Hehe.

If I could thank the person who created the Internet, I would, cos it has now become a very important part of my life. I wanna stay connected and don't wanna be left behind. In this era, many things are done/can be done online so why go trouble yourself when everything you need is just at your fingertips??

Most of the time I use the Internet to stay connected with friends and families, near or far. With mushrooming social networking sites or apps/clients like FB, Google+ or Twitter, there's simply no excuse for people not to stay in touch. Really. Well, unless they live in the remotest area on earth where there's no internet access, of course, hehe. To be frank, I check for any status updates every now and then, well, unless I'm preoccupied with something really really important, cos I simply don't wanna miss a thing. Every moment counts.

Besides that, I use the Internet to check emails, update my blog, read e-newspapers, for online banking or, once in a while, online shopping (heh ye ke kengkadang? LOL). I also use it to play online games and most importantly, search for any info. For me, the Internet is my Mr. Know-it-all, and that's why I set Google as my default homepage :) Whenever I'm in need of a crucial info that can't wait, Mr. Google is always there for me to attend to my every problems and needs, and to satisfy my curiosity.

This revolution has definitely changed the way we communicate, think and do things. I truly cannot imagine my life without the Internet. Errr, can you?

Why, oh, Why?

You might have noticed that some of my 'Gadgets' on the blog on the left have disappeared, while the ones on the right have been automatically placed at the bottom of the page, but don't ask me why, coz I myself don't know!! Something is technically wrong with my blog and I'm still finding out how it happened in the first place. It looks very plain and terribly unorganised now.. :(

Where are the gadgets???

Some are 'magically' placed at the bottom of the page...

I tried checking the 'Edit Layout' page but apparently everything is at its rightful place...

So what actually happened?? Any idea how I can fix it? Thanks in advance!

p/s: 10x kali refresh pun tetap same adehhh -.-"

Went out with my best buddy cum ex-colleague, Lam, before puasa and my, it was so good to see her! We last met each other last year when she came back from Sabah and now that she got transferred here, I'm hoping we can hang out more often! ^^ (though it's hardly the case now since both of us are busy with work huhuhu)

Not Again :(

I really have no idea why my car is so accident-prone! This is like the umptieth time my car has ever involved in any accident - major or minor.

So it goes like this.. I was driving to work when I hit something hard and sharp on the road. I didn't notice it at all. Heard the sound but I thought it was nothing major so I kept on driving untillll.. I realised the air-cond was not working, then I knew something was very wrong. I drove slowly when I saw the car temp was escalating.

When I arrived at school, I quickly checked my car and apart from the dents, one of the fog lights came out of the socket! I informed Hubby immediately and asked him to take a look at it (thank god he's not working today) and he confirmed that there is a leakage in the radiator and condenser! He later sent it to the workshop for repairs; after all it's no longer safe to drive a car with a leaking radiator. So there goes my 1/2 month bonus T.T

I'm gonna be car-less for a few days that's for sure but I'm glad I'm okay and that I'll go to school in Hubby's FD2R today onwards! :p

P/s: Sudah ketentuanNya..

Chilling out with my blogger girlfriend, Isabelle, err.. and boys, at Subang Parade on the weekend before puasa :)

Like mother, like sons hehe

The cool and serious Mr. Adib

Red velvet cake @ The Coffee Bean.. yummeh!

And he finally cracked a smile! (Yeah, after being tickled! LOL)

Big Adam (not that little 'nymore) was being sulky berebut monster with Lil Adib.. 'Ssokay Adam.. you're still cute! ;)

p/s: Had iftaar with them just now at SP, again, I know! Haha.. (but forgot to take any pics adoiii) Anyway, we had a blast sampai kedai nak tutup LOL

Gotta Have Them

Do you have any particular food you like to eat during the fasting month? As for me, Milo - hot or cold, is a must for sahur. I don't know why, but I guess it's because it makes me feel full plus it tastes good too, especially in the morning when you're not really in the mood to eat haha.. Other than that, nasi sejuk is a definite turnoff for me. if I were to eat nasi berlauk early in the morning, it better be hot or my appetite will be ruined for sure!

I'm not that particular or fussy when it comes to iftaar as I'm sure many of us will buy or cook more than what we actually eat. As the main course, I prefer rice meals like nasi tomato, nasi briyani, nasi ayam or nasi kerabu instead of the usual rice-dishes combination. Other than that, any cold drinks will do. Last time, I used to have soya bean or sugar cane drink every single day in Ramadhan but now I go for fruit juices like watermelon or mango instead. Kuih is not a must for me but it'll be good to have some as appetisers. If I were to buy some kuihs, it'll be something sweet like puddings or the like.

Well, we can talk about food all day long but what's more important this month is how much we actually worship God! Selamat beramal and don't overeat! :)
