Gotta Have Them
Do you have any particular food you like to eat during the fasting month? As for me, Milo - hot or cold, is a must for sahur. I don't know why, but I guess it's because it makes me feel full plus it tastes good too, especially in the morning when you're not really in the mood to eat haha.. Other than that, nasi sejuk is a definite turnoff for me. if I were to eat nasi berlauk early in the morning, it better be hot or my appetite will be ruined for sure!
I'm not that particular or fussy when it comes to iftaar as I'm sure many of us will buy or cook more than what we actually eat. As the main course, I prefer rice meals like nasi tomato, nasi briyani, nasi ayam or nasi kerabu instead of the usual rice-dishes combination. Other than that, any cold drinks will do. Last time, I used to have soya bean or sugar cane drink every single day in Ramadhan but now I go for fruit juices like watermelon or mango instead. Kuih is not a must for me but it'll be good to have some as appetisers. If I were to buy some kuihs, it'll be something sweet like puddings or the like.
Well, we can talk about food all day long but what's more important this month is how much we actually worship God! Selamat beramal and don't overeat! :)
