Driving Me Crazy

I'm one angry woman when it comes to driving. Driving can be fun and almost an obsession, and I'm one of the many drivers who enjoy speeding through the streets. I think majority would agree that we do it for the thrill of it or sometimes because we have always been driving that way. But there are some reasons why driving can be frustrating too, especially in Sandakan. Here are my top ten (been wanting to post these a long time ago ha-ha):
  1. The nerds drive 40kmph on the fast lane, and assume that they are fast enough.
  2. They speed up when the traffic lights turn red.
  3. They don't understand you when you beam at them. It seems like they prefer to remain ignorant.
  4. They honk you even when you've given signals to overtake them. Wtf?!
  5. They do not give signals and simply overtake you, causing you to brake abruptly (and start cursing, like me!)
  6. They brake unnecessarily. Some do that even when there's no car in front of them.
  7. They come out of the junction and straightaway drive up to the fast lane.
  8. They cut queue at the junction or traffic lights. Not to mention at the parking, too.
  9. They give you the middle finger when they feel like they're dissatisfied with you.
  10. They double park and block your car for a long, longgg time.
What can I say.. frustrating, huh? To these people who think they own the road as well as the car, and cannot ever give way to other drivers: please think before you act, you might not only risk the lives of the people in the oncoming car but also your own and those of your passengers. And FYI, we pay taxes too.
