And the Holidays Begin!

The time has finally come! I'm here at the airport waiting for my departure in about an hour's time while having my breakfast consists of iced Nescafe and fried noodles with sausage and egg. Whoa, what a way to kill time! Met my colleague who's also going home for CNY, a few students and their families as well as the owner (and her family) of my favourite restaurant too! I bet all of them (including me) are very excited for the most-awaited holidays of the year!

So here's wishing all my Chinese friends (and students) a very happy and prosperous new year! Gong Xi Fa Cai!

General Predictions for the Year of the Tiger

The year of the Tiger is traditionally associated with massive changes and social upheaval. Therefore, 2010 is very likely to be a volatile one both on the world scene, as well as on a personal level.

Tigers who thrive on chance and unpredictabilty are best suited to navigating the many upheavals predicted in the year ahead.
